Membership
Membership at Vintage is about more than joining a church—it’s about stepping into a way of life. We want every member to live as a disciple who makes disciples, rooted in community and sent on mission.
1. Attend the Next Steps Class
Next Steps is the front door into the life of Vintage. In this class, you’ll:
- Hear the story of how Vintage Church was planted
- Learn about Communitas and our vision for everyday missionaries
- Connect with a Life Group Explore ways to join a serve team
- Discover what it means to live as a disciple who makes disciples
- Next Steps helps you understand who we are and how you can step fully into the mission of God with us.
2. Write Your Story
We believe God is actively shaping your life—and your story matters. As part of the membership process, we ask you to reflect on:
- Who you were before Christ What Christ has done in your life
- What He is doing now
We also invite you into a listening posture: “God, what are You inviting me into?” Take note of the “green shoots”—signs of God’s activity among the people on your Pray & Watch list, and where He may be calling you to join Him. This written story becomes a meaningful part of your formation and helps us walk with you as you follow Jesus.
3. Meet With an Elder & Staff Member
The final step is a relational conversation. You’ll meet with an elder and a staff member to:
- Share your story and where you see God moving in your life
- Talk about who you are walking with as a disciple who is making disciples
