The past few years we’ve made lots of investments in other locations, church planting, missions projects, and Kingdom movement outside of our local EDH context, and we know that this year, there are some EDH projects we need to invest in. Our hope as a team is to be able to address the church parking needs, add a commercial kitchen for guest groups, proxy and ministry needs as well as improve some kids spaces and bathrooms for safety. Of course, this all requires an investment of capital, and while we’ve been saving in preparation, we still have a ways to go to pull the trigger on these projects, but God!

In God’s faithfulness, this past month we’ve been offered multiple matching grants from extended family churches (Mt. Shasta) as well as a local partner. Although these are people that are not “on location” with us at Vintage, they’ve seen the impact and want to support seeing Vintage thrive in serving our community. As staff and elders, our hope is not only that we would match this $200,000 challenge, but also that we’d continue to see all of our resources as gifts from God and share in His ‘glory priority’ for how we steward everything that He has entrusted to us.

This is our heart corporately and we desire the same for you personally. With that heart in mind, we are praying for 100% participation from our church family and asking each of you to simply ask God, what He may be inviting you into, in partnering with us, through a one-time gift. This will help us match these special funds and allow us to tackle these projects ASAP.

Please take the month of April to pray, watch, and ask the Lord, and see how you can step, in your joy, WITH the Spirit, and with us as His Body, through a special offering. We won’t be passing a plate, but all giving in the ‘For God’ boxes and online, on Sunday May 4th will go towards this matching opportunity. We are in awe of God’s provision and can’t wait to see how our church family rises to the challenge!
