Treasure in a Manger
Jesus came in a really UNremarkable way when looked at through the lens of the world. He was God but in the form of a baby, he wasn’t the warrior they were hoping for, his first days were in a dirty manger, he grew up to challenge His people and they rejected him, he didn’t stand up against the false accusations, and he was innocently slaughtered. But this upside-down way of Jesus coming to save the world went UNSEEN by most! We all miss the gift of Jesus because the “wrapping” doesn’t present as expected, but truly, He is the treasure in the manger!
